The Finder doesn’t have item links, which are one of the most useful features in DT, in my opinion. I’ve been using DT since about 2010, if not earlier. I think I’d have worked it out if the Finder were a better fit for me.
We are all doing things in different ways. One of the benefits of good software is that it is possible to do things in different ways. What is best for one person is not necessarily best for another. I am colour blind, and I cannot tell blue from purple, while red and green are not easy for me to distinguish. Fortunately, DEVONthink has an option so that Duplicates are shown with a symbol instead of a colour. This is thoughtful design and is very welcome to me.
