A key and salient point of distinction 
There are many of our customers who have not used (or don’t care for) apps like emacs or vim. And many grown up with Apple or defected away from Windows and other OSes. So while it’s good and descriptive for you and other of like mind, it’s not prescriptive for the whole. Just something to consider.
