2 items left to be uploaded...but which ones? And why?

I got hit with the “items left to be uploaded” syndrome, but it was self-inflicted.

TL;DR - I introduced some easily corrected corruption into my DT database. All’s well, no DT bugs.

Note to @BLUEFROG - if you read this, facepalm injuries can be severe. Oven mitts may be effective.

I found some anonymous files in one of my DT databases. I didn’t know what they were and the “open with” option didn’t appear.

So, I used the show in Finder option. I opened the strange file with BBEdit, saw it was an old OmniOutliner file. I’ve uninstalled OO and this was a deletable file.

To the trash with it, and then I saw another few OO files that weren’t needed. Deleted.

And then I realized I was deleting things in the Finder.

The OO package files turned into blue folder icons in Devonthink which caused me to overlook them. I did a verify and repair, and then the “items left” log message started popping up.

Not a problem, I did a rebuild - and still got the message.

This time, verify and repair listed the files as missing. I deleted them in Devonthink - and still had the messages.

Because, of course, being dumb enough to delete DT files in the Finder meant I also overlooked emptying the DT trash.

I emptied the trash, verify and repair is happy, and I’m not getting messages about items left to upload.
