Ich hatte das gleiche Problem mit dem Brother ADS-2400N Scanner. Das Format ist nur beim Erstellen normaler PDF-Dateien falsch. Die einfache Lösung war, die Ausgabe im Scanner auf PDF/A umzustellen:
